Mr. Corsini's career spans over twenty years of extensive experience in underwriting, structuring, and managing loans.  Mr. Corsini, serves as the Chief Credit Officer of CapitalSource Inc., a leading commercial lending, investment and asset management business that has a geographically diverse client base consisting of 692 clients with headquarters in 47 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and select international locations, primarily in Canada and the United Kingdom.  CapitalSource focuses on the middle market, operating through three focused lending businesses: Structured Finance, Healthcare and Specialty Finance and Corporate Finance.  Since joining CapitalSource at its inception in 2000, Mr. Corsini has overseen the company’s growth from an initial $540 million in equity capital to a portfolio of 1,072 loans which had an aggregate of $7.9 billion outstanding and a commitment to lend up to an additional $4.1 billion as of December 31, 2006.

Prior to joining CapitalSource, Mr. Corsini spent 14 years at Fleet Capital Corporation, a commercial finance company, as Senior Vice President, Head of Loan Administration and Senior Vice President, Underwriting Manager and as Executive Vice-President in charge of underwriting and credit for the Northeast Division.  He was previously a senior auditor for Coopers & Lybrand where he was responsible for planning, administration and audits of various public and private companies.  Mr. Corsini is a certified public accountant and received his undergraduate degree from Providence College.
